QUEBEC

The province of Quebec is unique from the rest of Canada as it is the only province where French is its official language and that the Quebec government has an agreement with the federal government that they select their own candidates for immigration.  Individuals still have to meet the health and safety requirements of Citizenship and Immigration Canada in order to immigrate but they are chosen by Quebec and its requirements.

Quebec has multiple immigration programs available, some very similar to Canada’s but with sometimes less demands on the applicants and faster processing times. The differences with the federal programs are as follows:
